Learn photography from a professional photographer
Many amateur “photographers” out there spend good money in buying quality cameras with expectation of producing better images. They even have this notion of learning photography somehow as they go along. As time lapses, most are still stuck at the starting line, clueless of why other’s images of same subject matter looks better than theirs.
Simple reason is that many people do not even know where to begin.
Common concerns or excuses are simply too busy, costly photography programs, no patience with classroom lectures, confusing crash courses, and simply procrastination.
The truth about acquiring professional photography skill is that it’s costly, time consuming, enduring classroom lectures, trial and errors, researches, and most importantly have a growing interest in photography. Mindset is always the current shot better than the last. Explore new possibilities and approaches to bring out that “communicative” visual statement.
There is no end to photography, only the beginning. Images can only get increasingly interesting as modern digital cameras bridges the technical limitations of yesteryear’s photography equipment.
Get started in learning photography out there with me. First step in learning photography is learn to see, compose and capture.
Objective is to maximize the visual impact within the parameter of your equipment. Session include brief explanation on techniques applied in achieving better imaging. Basic image refinement and technical understanding will be progressively introduced.
No limitation on teaching formats, learning sequences, session requirement, commitment, cameras type, time frame, subjects, etc. Instant “how to” improvement results on your initial shots. Photograph whatever that captivates your attention and bring home the comparison improvements. Your perception of photography will change from the very first session.
Depth of photography coverage and pace will depends on individual understanding and camera used in each progressive session. It is own time, own target, couple with a little push and guidance. Very casual, enjoyable and stress free learning process aim at maximizing shooting reflexes. Techniques covered by individual participant will be recorded on a track sheet.
Session will be conducted by Mr Terry Poon. He is an experienced commercial and industrial professional photographer who had went through the lengthy and expensive full-time academic learning process in both professional photography and apply arts.
Fee: Only $35 per person/session (Maximum 3 persons).
Venue: Gardens by the bay, Flower doom or Cloud forest (Entrance fee not including)
(Gardens by the bay annual pass is recommended if you plan on attending multiple photo sessions)
Weekends: Saturday and Sunday only.
Time slots: 10am-12pm, 1pm-3pm, and 3.30pm-5.30pm only.
